A Bit About Me

Professional and Experienced

I’m a licensed health care practitioner and have been practicing with horses since 1992.

That’s over 32 years of full time practice and experience.  I know, right? Sheesh, where did the time go? Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.

Innovative Trailblazer

I’m one of the pioneers in the field of equine therapy and one of the first practitioners on the international show circuits.

Responsible and Curious

I’m constantly learning. Education is one of my pillars, learn something new every day.

I continue my education in evidence based medicine and focus on areas that I feel need to be developed in equine injury rehabilitation and performance.

I Get It

I’m a rider and competitor myself and grew up with horses.

I understand the complexities and subtleties of feel and correctness under saddle.  I know what it feels like when something isn’t right and can help you navigate that.

Correlations

As a licensed health care practitioner for humans, I have the knowledge, skills and experience to help riders when their own physical dysfunctions or imbalances are affecting their horses, to distinguish between rider imbalances and horse imbalances and to help you work together with correct biomechanics.

I Understand

I’m a certified professional in pain science and have a trauma informed practice and approach.

And most importantly, I get you and your horse.

I understand the frustration, hopelessness and the crushed dreams when things go sideways with your horse, like facing an unsoundness, injury or a training problem.

I’m here to help you overcome the challenges, navigate the obstacles, and transform your experiences into ones that are not just successful, but truly rewarding for you and your horse.

Together we’ll reignite your passion, restore your joy, and build your dreams and goals into reality.
