Tendon and ligament injuries and how to deal with them
A review of common tendon and ligament injuries including suspensory ligaments, check ligaments, bowed tendons, and stifle injuries. What and where are the injuries, how do they occur, the basics of rehabilitation and what you can do for them. Learn hands on skills to recognize potential injury and apply early intervention.

Training and competition related injuries
Common sport related injuries; reasons for injuries during training and competition, training tips for prevention; and hands on prevention and maintenance skills before, during and after competitions.

Injury prevention
Learn about the types, occurrence, causes and effects of injury, how to minimize risk, and how to keep your horse free of preventable injuries.  Maintenance is the key, prevention the cure.

Soundness evaluation
Learn skills to recognize unsoundness and identify location; understand basic gait analysis, and review gait disturbances, their effects and potential for injury.
